to get back into posting routine , before this section is dying .

Image captured just some weeks during the single day heavy snow fall here in my home town .

Wish the LRC was covered with snow .... but as you can see it was not , so I decided I just lightened the dark areas a bit to make them less obvious .

Nice and simple with good detail Andreas, however I agree in an ideal world the log needed to be covered. Why did you not address this in PP? With the raw it's simple and you can achieve the end result far better, just a thought???

Steve , thanks for the RP and the comment .
Tried to address that in PPP , did it already .... in my OP . Was not happy with the result , so I left it half way .
Might try it again ... as yours looks better than mine , but still too grey , IMHO . At least I have a visual demo .....

    Cheers Andreas

    Lovely image Andreas,

And even lovelier without the log...
Nevertheless, it works very well as presented, great IQ and nice presentation overall, love the colour of the squirrel's fur.
Just feel like a bit more is needed at the bottom, what say you?
Cute pose and great DoF, lovely textures, well exposed and super PP work. Great BG too

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Very sweet image. I like the OP as the color in the log picks up the color of the squirrel.
