I spent a few hours with the Eiders from the shore in my hometown....They are showing pretty well just now and managed a few shots...The light was good, and I liked the detail in both blacks and whites I managed to capture....HH...ACR and PS.....

Hi Will nice clean shot and the head turn is good .
Like the smooth water surface and the waves created by the duck .
Nice details captured and rendered , stunning sharpness .
Eye does look a bit odd ... maybe lightened too much ??

Well done Will, sharpness detail and colour all good. I suspect the sun caught the eye at an unfortunate angle leading to this appearance, as Andreas suggests maybe less brightness there could help - possibly a little Clarity too.

Nice frame Will. Great job on the sharpness and I also like the water movement. Agree about the eye.

Hi Will, nice control of the black & whites and the choice of format works. Have you considered loosing the lowest reflection at the foot and the white line, might look a bit cleaner??
