Hi folks .... had a short break here .
Time to post again , image captured yesterday at local town lake .... albeit being very quiet in terms of birds I went there and got at least a couple of shots of these guys .
    Nothing exciting .

    Canon EOS R3
    EF 500 IS L II + 2x TC
HH with flip screen for low POV .
    Almost FF

    F 9; Iso 1000 ; 1/2000 sec

Processed with DPP 4 and PSCC 2022 ; little clean up in FG

Thanks for watching and commenting to my previous posting

    Cheers Andreas

Lovely POV you got here Andreas.....I really like the colours and contrast throughout....Maybe tease a wee bit more detail on the whites...The BG colours show the bird well with perfect HA....

These little fellows always make great subjects, as usual lovely detail, and an ideal pose.

Nice and low. Like that hair do. A couple of these have shown up on the lake here the last couple years.

Looks good overall Andreas, and I love the "tuft". Sharp. Nice colours. I only wish the bird was a touch lower in the frame.

Ditto all the comments above. I'd go with a crop from the bottom.
