    I captured this image at Lake Morton in Lakeland, Florida. Unconventional pose, I guess you will either love it or hate it. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Nikon D500
    Nikon 500mm PF, camera and lens supported by a Oben carbon fiber monopod with a Wimberly MonoGimbal head
    1/1600 F/5.6 Matrix Metering EV +2/3 ISO 560 Auto 1 WB, image captured at 500mm (750mm 35mm Equivalent)
    Post processed in Lightroom Classic, Photoshop CC 2022 and Topaz Denoise AI
    Cropped for composition and presentation

    I love it Joe, it's all bout that eye! Wonderful clear BG, i would suggest taking some off the bottom without disturbing the reflection. TFS

    I didn't think this was gonna work when I clicked on the thumb, but it looks quite good. I think the reflection really helps, and I agree with Ann about taking a bit off the bottom. It's amazing how the bird looks like it was shot in B and W. I'm so used to seeing them with full color saturation in bright sun!
