    Love the extended feet. Few will appreciate seeing the yellow-green lines on the toes, but I think they're really cool.

    Exposure and detail look great across the whole bird. Splayed primaries are really nice.

    I think the crop works well with the OOF bird behind and the foliage at lower right. It's clear the bird is coming in for a landing, so that's good.

    This is a lovely frame Jon. I quite like the OOF gannet in this image.
    The landing pose is great.
    I see a very faint outline (or remnants of cloning) of a twig or grass behind the birds' left wing and rump and tail.There is
    also a tear drop splotch about an inch below the tail. Easy fix.

    Very dynamic landing pose. The grass at right helps balance the comp nicely. Yes, the oof gannet is good that you left in there. Easy fixes as per Gail would get this nicely cleaned up.

    Thanks very much everyone, the ghosts are OOF grasses, no cloning or patching etc was done.

    Wonderful image, Jon. Lovely pose and wing position on the subject. The out of focus Gannet and vegetation add interest. Thank you for sharing.

    Incoming. The out of focus vegetation and other bird do give some nice depth here.
