Yesterday I spent a few hours photographing this pair of Fulmars...They mate for life and return to the same nesting site in my home town.....This pair have just arrived after spending most of their life out in the oceans.....This courtship renewal stage lasted for a while, so I managed lots of different shots.....I liked this one, with the tips of the bills together, causing the wee heart shape at the top of the chest.... ACR and PS

Hi Will, lovely framed image, needs a sign: "home sweet home" I enjoy the setting and all the lichen, the face to face beak position that in negative space makes a heart from the curve of their necks. Maybe brighten the eye on the right side bird... Well done, TFS

Very nice frame Will. I would center the birds perfectly within the frame.
Crop fee;ls a bit lopsided with too much on the RHS.
    Love the interaction shown.
So nice to see no poop on the rocks because this is so early in the season!

Cool setting. I agree with Gail about centering the birds in the frame, even if that means losing some of the nice foliage at the right.

I guess composition can be subjective...for me I'd rather crop about 30-40% of the space below the birds instead. But I can see Gail and Dorian's point too. I love the rock wall behind the two birds, very nice! Sounds like you had a great time at that location!
