    I captured this image doing one of the things I enjoy most in life, sitting on the sand at the north beach at Ft. Desoto early in the morning. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Nikon 500mm PF, camera and lens supported by a Oben carbon fiber monopod with a Wimberly MonoGimbal head

    hi Joe, one of my favorite things to do as well! I like the framing and siphoning action you captured. Light is sweet, overall a lovely frame.

    I love Fort DeSoto too. I cannot believe how much the beach area has changed since I was last there in february 2019. Storms have changed this place in such a dramatic way!
    Nice pose and I lake the larger crop.
    I would desaturate the yellows on the godwit a little bit if mine.

    Nice light. Also like that water trailing off the bill. Nice to see the tail fluffed out a little.
