I am not great at identifying female hummers, but pretty sure this is a black-chinned female. Not only because of the markings but also the size.
I know the female isn't as exciting as the males, but I really like the place on the flower she hit. Natural light and natural background.

Lovely shot, i would suggest brightening up the eye and lores a little, it would give more impact.

Another beauty, Kurt. Loving these hummingbirds. Good colors and detail on the bird, nice wing position, complimentary background and flower. Thank you for sharing.

    Hello Kurt,
Wonderful capture, so very clean and pleasing to the eye. I really love the position of the hummingbird and the puffed throat as it starts to probe or feed. lovely colors and details. I would try to do some eye work if possible, to give some definition. Excellent work and 1/8000 gave just a needed lil wing blur. Ann

Love the diagonal line created by the hummer and the flower.
I think I would increase the exposure overall.
    BG looks great.

I love the composition with the bird just short of the flower, and the way the diagonal flows. Perfect wing position and I like seeing these in natural light
