    Default Pochard (M) Wing Flap

Hi folks ... going back to some images shot earlier in the year .
Image does show a not ideal wing flap , as the bird is slightly angled away .... but for me , not being the most critical person when it does come to head angle in bird photography , I rather accept this . For sure I would have liked the perfect shooting angle .... but it did not happen .

In addition to the bird facing away from us -- you can thank the wind for that, I am not a fan of the rather harsh off-angled light.

Despite the shortcomings, which I agree with, I keep wanting to stare at the eye and face - the colours and detail looks great.

I like the pose, the wind blown feathers and the light on the head. I do wish it were not facing away though. Still nice work Andreas!

I like this but just wish the bird was not facing away.
I really like the 2 curled, windblown feathers on the back.
