    Hi folks .... my first ever photographed ( half way decent ) Nuthatch .
    Image captured on a cold morning after an unexpected snow fall on 1st of April ... thought this must be an Aprilīs fool .
    Actually looking for Red Squirrel this Nuthatch was basically a grab shot ... the shooting angle not ideal and even the body posture is looking weird from that angle . But I thought why not posting my excitement ... , BG could have been cleaner in a really nice world .... and so forth .

    I quite like the Nuthatch, a very natural looking scene, I don't always want to see birds on impeccable perches with featureless backgrounds, I like nature!

    Agree with Jonathan here. My first thought was it needed a tighter crop (more off then left side), but after looking more I like it as is. I think the bird could use a bit more punch? seems a tad washed out? Lovely cool atmosphere in this one...jealous of your snow!
