Default Red Squirrel in snow fall

Hi folks here is another one , shot the next morning ...
The falling snow was actually coming from the tall trees , while I was taking images of this little guy who posed for me .... due to wind the snow came down and took the opportunity to shoot . Sadly I have forgotten to dial a slower SS .... old brain simply too slow to react , LOL .
I know the BG is quite busy but I rather like the chaos in the BG

Processed with DPP 4 and PSCC 2022 ; slightly cropped and one stem removed from the RHS .
The stem on the Squirrels butt is not ideal , but I can live with it .

Thanks for looking and commenting to my previous posting

    Cheers Andreas

Delightful, my kind of image, I like the snow and his pose on the perch. Good details and the colours look very good to me.

Thanks Jon ... glad you like it . I was so happy about the unexpected snow options , as I was waiting the whole winter for snow but the snow did not come . And then the snow came in good amount , just for 1 day .... on the second day all snow was melted already .

Sweet, also you might have dropped the DoF to, say f/5.6 as sometimes DoF will swallow the snow up.

What a cutie, Andreas!!! I mean... the squirrel
Super pose and I like the 'perch' and framing and everything. Love the rich colours and snowflakes. Squirrel so tiny and delightful, I want to grab it off the screen and hide it in my pocket!
Wonderful image and it made me smile, a pleasure to view.

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Thanks Steve and Gabriela for your kind comments , much appreciated .

@ Gabriela ... the Squirrel might prefer the freedom , instead of your pocket

@ Steve ... will try to remember next winter

Loved it Andreas -- You make the most of your opportunities. BKG is not a problem at all.

    Superbly done.

    TFS !
