    Default Robin

Hi all my first snowy Robin image ....
Surprisingly we had snow fall from yesterday afternoon till late evening , took the chance and went to my Red Squirrel location .... and found while searching this Robin .
Not the hottest image on earth , but I do like it for the snowy winter feel .
Second thing is the use of DXO RAW 2 .... actually it performed not bad . The WF is a bit weird in combo with C1 .... but definitely an alternative

Processed with DXO RAW 2 ; C1 and finalized in PSCC 2022 .

Thanks for watching and commenting to my previous postings

    Cheers Andreas

Lovely clean image but the colours? The brown feathers look too pale and seem to be tinged with orange/yellow.

Thanks Jon ... you might be right , the way from DXO to C1 is a bit wanky in terms of colors ..... for whatever reason the colors do look off when being exported into C1 . Way more color correction needed ... than I am used to .

HI Andreas, neat little bird, quite different the the American Robin. I like the second posting better, not sure what you did but the colors look better. The snow is interesting, it adds a nice touch. Thank you for sharing.

So you need to use two Raw converters before exporting the file to PS, seems a bit excessive Andreas, and when it goes to C1 it's only a 16bit tiff, why. You can did what you need within PS?????

Nice for you to get some snow - here we're just about done with it for another season. Sharpness is spot-on, and I like the way the rear claws wrap around the perch. Personally I could do without the large white background area - I wish it was all green. Nonetheless a really festive image.

I think you can sell the 1DX now

Lovely image Andreas and such a pretty little bird, great pose, I like this a lot. Image well exposed, well composed and processed, wonderful detail.

    Kind regards,
