    Good fine detail and I like the direct light. Interesting perch too.

    Hi Kurt ... gorgeous looking bird , perched on a attractive perch in some nice light !!What more to wish for ??!!

    Nicely done on all counts !! Albeit the SS is a bit of an overkill for this scenario

    Hi Kurt, beautiful bird nicely shown. I love the perch, I assume a dead cactus of some kind. Nice colors and detail on the bird, beautiful pure background. Perch, bird, and background all work together well. Thank you for sharing.

    Gotta love that perch and the way the subject is gripping it. There is a certain richness to the light here that is very appealing. Vertical comp was a no-brainier here, good call on the 5x4 ratio too.
