    I took this shot whilst returning home from a local walk, the weather was rather cludy/dull.

    Jon:

    The light allowed you to have a wide dynamic range without loss of brights or darks. Nice details, catchlight, like the pose.

    Well scaled perch with small details of its own.

    Just feel the whole frame needs a push down so the subject has more to look into, too much negative space above to me. How much of a crop Jon?

    Think you had more 'cleaner' files with the previous body, at ISO1250 I was expecting more in the finer detail Jon, are you still working on what convertor to use???

    Yes Steve - very frustrating I know I can get much better results, I have emailed software but "sometime soon".

    Hi Jon ... nice clean shot of the Sparrow and I do quite like the look downwards .
    I do agree with Steve about the framing .
    Color and tones looking pleasing and natural to me .

    Surprised to see the grainy structure in the beak and the belly area , any idea how the grain was introduced ??? When zoomed in , it does look like introduced due to some sort of sharpening ??
