Hi folks ... in early days a very common bird , sadly meanwhile these birds are not that easy to find here in my area .

Hi Andreas, not floating my boat sadly, and the stump over the foot is very unfortunate, but worth snapping. Personally I would loose the two nodules on the branch.

Sorry to hear , Steve, that you´ve got a hole in your rubber boat and start sinking when looking at my image .
I like it and i am happy to get a solid shot of this species .
The two nodules stay , do not see any need of removing them , but agree that the hidden foot is not ideal.

    Cheers andreas

Andreas, I’m sure others will love it, I posted my thoughts and critique, your call at the end of the day.

No leaky boat, I’m most definitely on solid ground currently.

The house sparrow has been in great decline in the UK for a number of years, luckily it is making a come back in certain areas (like my back garden!). Details look good, yes my eye is drawn to the twig over the foot but the head and body are of primary interest to me so from that point of view I think it is a pretty good image of the subject. Not the best perch in the world but we can't always have everything can we?
