    A different location for this Heron. I do like the nictitating membrane half over the eye. Basic adjustments in acr and ps.

    D500/500PF, 1/2000th sec@f7.1, iso1000, manual mode HH Cheers.

    Hi Paul ... nice one overall , specially with the walking pose .
    Cannot see any benefit with the half membrane , but you like it . Which is ok

    A great pose Paul and I too like the view of the translucent membrane. But then I'm a bird/nature lover first and the membrane is functional part of their lives. TFS

    Nice moment implied with this pose Paul and the membrane doesn't bother me at tall. It is part of the behavior.
