    I captured this image of a American White Pelican with a caruncle (breeding horn shed after breeding) at Lake Morton in Lakeland, Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Clean and simple Joe, with gorgeous detail and clean whites, the blue backdrop just gives the subject cool separation, nice work, well done.

    I always enjoy your White Pelican close-ups, and this one is no exception. Perfect details and whites. If mine I'd likely remove the dark imperfection halfway along the bill.

    Hi Dan, I had thought about removing the dark area on the bill but decided to leave it alone because I have seen it on other White Pelicans. Not sure what it is but it appears natural. Thank you for viewing and commenting.
