    This was taken at the same location as the Plover in my last post. Basic adjustments only in acr and ps. Cheers.

    D500/500PF, 1/1000th sec@f5.6, iso1600.

    Great light for the shot and terrific to get an engaging head turn which is not easy with these birds. They are generally strictly focused on where the next meal is coming from.
    Good detail too.

    Nice work with this guy Paul! I also like the head turn, the legs are great and I like the rock perch.

    Ah yes, more rock form the get-go here! Good! I do feel the colours are rather muted here, but perhaps that is how this species is.

    Thanks Daniel. Yes, a bit muted, but probably due to the light...a little overcast?
