    Stopped off at Lake Morton this morning, these birds are gorgeous this time of year. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Nikon D500
    Nikon 500mm PF + Nikon 1.4 III Teleconverter, camera and lens supported by a Oben carbon fiber monopod with a Wimberly MonoGimbal head
    1/4000 F/8 Matrix Metering EV 0 ISO 450 Auto 1 WB, image captured at 700mm (1050mm 35mm Equivalent)
    Post processed in Lightroom Classic, Photoshop CC 2022 and Topaz Denoise AI
    Cropped a little for composition and presentation

    Jo I was transfixed, you can;t look at this for a couple of seconds can you? Details everywhere and as David said that eye! I am going to have another look now...... absolutely superb.

    Fantastic details indeed! Lots to study and take in. Good-looking whites, and excellent processing overall. I do wish for a touch more room at left, but so cool as is too.
