This was taken on Wednesday of this week on local farmland, I have seen very few so far and I was lucky to get this. It is a significant crop, I was disguising my shape by standing directly in front of a hay bale. Image captured early morning.

Hi Jon ... glad you found some hares , and two are better than one .
Just wish the left one was not hunkering down .... he looks somewhat depressive .
The image in general looks good with the Hares nicely isolated and IQ held well for a large crop .... your processing does look very good at the moment Jon !!!!

I would have tried the colors slightly different ... but might be just my taste , that differs from yours .
Specially the FG looks a bit cool for my taste , but no big deal

    Dear Jon,

I like the scene overall and the bit of vegetation, but especially POV. Lighting conditions not ideal and subjects were quite far - but you did well, nicely exposed and well framed, pose is cute.
Colours overall look natural and reflect the time of the day / early morning. If this was mine I would remove the twig on the LHS of the frame and apply a tad more sharpening to the face of the main subject / hare.
Enjoyed viewing, very much! Thank you so much for sharing

    Warmest regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Thanks Andreas & Gabriela, I appreciate the pose of the foremost wasn't ideal, I am guessing that is the buck, he hopped off immediately - persued quickly by the doe. I was struggling to get focus, once it locked it was fine, I was pleased to get anything that day and considering I was squatting and hand held I was pretty pleased to get something.

  5. Thanks Gabriela Plesea thanked for this post
