Hi folks ... one image from Zambia taken in 2019
Anette and I found this Hippo in the partly dry river bed of the Luangwa River , I think the Hippos had to walk a lot to get to some feeding grounds as a drought had hit the area while we were there .

A fine shot, the colours look very good, I like his right eye, my only reservation is the featureless band of sand at the base, was this just DOF, it seems very abrupt?

Love the light here Andreas, and especially vibrancy/colours. As well as the threatening look from the hippie.

A fine image indeed, not too fond of the OOF FG either but I suppose that's how it was, nothing one can do about it.

Superb detail on the subject, nice techs and well composed too, PP work is great.

My my, but he looks upset would not want to cross his path, LOL.

Really enjoyed this, thank you for sharing!

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea
