One of the two wild cats in Florida, the other being the Florida Panther. I captured this image a long time ago while driving along Blackpoint Wildlife Drive in Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, Merritt Island, Florida. I keep going back to the image trying for better post processing using new tools and skills. At the time I captured this image my camera and lens was not of the quality I now have. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

I recall something similar in the past Jo, I like the selective sharpening the bobcat is shown to good effect, good colours and I think equally good details in the bobcat fur. This post is definitely better than your previous.

    Dear Jo,

Wonderful sighting - have not seen many images of Bobcats so for me a real pleasure to view, I really like the eye contact here and pose.
IMO the colours are well rendered and face of the subject has nice detail. Framing is good albeit a little tight at the bottom. Not sure about the blurry patches under the subject's tummy? Love those eyes and expression the most, what beautiful creature

So glad to see you posting here again, I have been rather scarce and missing the Forum and interaction with members. Do not remember seeing your previous image of this lovely Bobcat, will search for it. Hope to see more from you, thank you so much for sharing!

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea
