Elated to say after our beloved Govt finally released us from a self imposed 2 year lock out from ALL international travel, that I'm so excited to leave for a 4 week assignment Monday to capture the end of calving season in the Serengeti.

Armed with a myriad of Covid regulations/paperwork, half the battle will be just getting there unstressed, and will kiss that beautiful Serengeti soil when I land.
    Until then.

Hi Marc ... stunning action captured and I love the overall rainy scene , quite unusual to see that ... at least for me .

Personally I would change the WB a bit , too much of magenta for my taste .... but you might like it that way .

Enjoy the time in the Serengeti and good luck with your sightings .... but as far as I remember you came back every time with something good .

    Cheers Andreas

A super fine shot, i suspect not very easy to get it in focus but this is good. I too see some magenta especially in the cheetah coat.

    Have to agree Andreas

It's never a good idea to submit from a non cal laptop, here's the colour corrected version.

    Hello Marc,

Great timing here, this is a very special image and the rain makes it so unusual - very well done ! Nicely framed too, happy to see the FG is clear of vegetation 'at the right spot' so to speak. RP looks more natural in terms of colour and the coat of the cheetah well rendered.

Thank you so much for sharing with us - such awesome sighting! Hope you bring back more from the Serengeti, wishing you safe travels!

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Perfect timing Marc, the rain adds a lot of nice atmosphere to the shot. The RP is much nicer in terms of colour
