Hi folks .... just a grab shot of this species , as I was sitting at the lake and was prepared for shooting BIF , hence the crazy high SS for the Jackdaw .The flying birds has been against a bright sky , but the Jackdaw walked in a shaded area ... so the Iso went up , as I was not able to dial in a slower SS . All too much for the " elder German grey sock " ..... .
But with the R3 not a real issue with its super noise performance .... for sure I would have liked a lower noise level , but I can live and easily work with the noise level .

Thanks for watching and commenting to my previous posting ....
I like the walking pose. There is a lot of details in the blacks, considering the high ISO. It seems like perhaps a little CW rotation would level the image.
I would go for some CW rotation as well. Such a fun pose - I especially like the back foot. Good details on the blacks. Nice with our modern-day tools that we d not need to worry as much with noise with high-ISO settings!
Love the way that you handled the dark and gray tones.
