I captured this image of a Turkey Vulture at Stick Marsh early yesterday morning. I went looking for Spoonbills (very few) and found a Vulture. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Great light with nice details in the dark plumage. That red face pops against the green. Nice consolation, I'd say. TFS

A really nice portrait, lovely light and details. Such a comical looking bird.

Very nice portrait Joe! I think you nailed the exposure on this, the detail looks good as well.

Hi Joe ... a top notch portrait , IMHO .
I do agree not the most " attractive " bird on planet earth .... but for sure very interesting what Mother Nature has in her pocket to offer .
Nice colors , tones and extracted details . Processing looks good .

Great work , Joe and TFS Andreas

I like these guys, especially when they have a larger crown of "hair" like this one does. Nice to see a clean bill. The iris looks like it may have been worked on as it has a bit of an "enamel" look to it, but tough to tell for sure. Nice portrait!
