I haven't been out to shoot since COVID. Hoping to make a quick trip tot he water ranch next week if the weather cooperates. But this has given me time to go through some old files I never processed. Here's one from a couple years ago when I was still shooting Canon.
    Canon 1D MII
    600mm f/4
    1.4 TC
    1/8000 at f/8

This is really sweet; loads of action to complement the hella low angle. You got the eye open, and that really makes this land well. I would clone out the biggest/brightest streak across the reflection.

Any reason you were at ISO 2500 in direct sun? 1/8000 a bit overkill when 1/4000 woulda done it.

Hi Kurt ... super cool action , lovely the head shake with the flying water droplets !!!! Well timed shot
Processing , comp ,low POV .... looking very good .
If possible I would open the mid and dark tones in the subject , bet there is more detail to show up .... matter of taste and pref .

    Well done and TFS Andreas

I love these types of water action images. Nice colours, low angle. As Dorian remarks, the open eye is good. It may be just an illusion, but a bit of CCW rotation could be good here.
