This is my first capture of a juvenile Jacana. Eyeing off a Bee is an added bonus. I know the FG/BG is busy, but this is their environment as pointed out in my previous postings of this species. Basic editing in acr and ps. Cheers.

Yea Paul first thing I noticed was the busy background unfortunate. I think some shade helped in this instant because the background looks like some harsh light. Lost some definition in the eye because of the shade. Looks sharp and well processed TFS.

Thanks Kevin. I agree with the eye definition, but I'm fine with the BG. Cheers

I like the image, I would suggest lowering exposure and saturation on the background, its surprising it doesn't need a lot but I think it helps.

Lovely to see this funky bird in its natural habitat, but the shadowed bird doesn't stand out against the illuminated background. It's a shame because the detail on the bird looks great; we just don't see it since our eyes are pulled elsewhere.

Hi Paul ... the subject and the content is great , with the insect icing the cake !!!
But I am with Dorian .... subject and FG in shade and the BG in sunlight , as making this a tough one . You can try .... to equalize the tones a bit and see how that goes .
