Another out of a series, shot in Nebraska last spring. I tamed this one down as the other one was a little over cooked. Processed with Dpp 4,Topaz and Photoshop. Would like to thank all that made suggestions on the last photo. I think they were pretty much spot on and good suggestions. Hope this is better.

Hi Kevin, this is a stunning image. The light is perfect and the colors look stunning. Processing looks good to my eye. Wish the bird was angled toward the camera. Other than that everything else looks great!

    Kevin:

To my eye, the processing is much better on this one. Colors look good, exposure good. Interesting pose, looks like he is working hard to stay on this thin perch
Yes, the body angle is a bit away from us, but the head does angle back enough to work for me. Not perfect, but very effective overall!!

    Cheers

Body and head angles, and the heavily shaded perch, are the two unfortunate things that come to mind, but I love the IQ, BG, and good composition. Looks like it is about to jump down!

Processing looks great, but I must echo the head angle comments, particularly with the catchlight missing.
