Pleasing colours good action and sharp where it needs to be.

Lovely image Joe the whites go sell well with the water on this one. Boiling water and droplets get some action and appreciate the low angle on this one. TFS

Great image. I like the flared tail feathers. I think the center framing works here.

The IQ on the bird is great and nice action, but IMO the frame needs some CCW rotation so that the rings around the bird are level. Also a bit high in the frame for my taste so a couple of cm off the bottom and more on the top since the reflection isn't great.

Nice to see something different Joe, I like the perspective and the cool bow waves.

I would be temped to pull the whites back with a Curves adj Joe, not only will they not be so hot, but also retrieve more detail. I would darken the FG as light always lightens as it goes further away, plus it adds some more definition to the waves either side. The blue, well your call, just looks a bit Ctyan????

Try a 16x10 working bottom right so the chest sits on that first line, just a thought????

Hi Joe ... pretty cool shot in nice frontal light and the low POV works ooooh so well !
Could it be that this as larger crop .... ?? I might be wrong but I think the details are looking not that fine rendered .... still scratching my head why using TOPAZ NR at Iso 1250 ???

Overall it does look quite cool ... love the colors , tones looking good with some potential in the white parts to get more depth .

My favorite part is the perfectly splayed tail feathers, especially the two outer ones...how neat! A bit lower in the frame would have worked, or a touch more cropped form below. There does appear to have the illusion of needing some rotation due the large ripples around the tern - playing around with it is a good idea but perhaps this is indeed already the best levelling (reflection seems straight). I love it overall, nice and fresh sea image :-)

Fun image with nice exposure and great detail. Water ripples are cool as well. Only wish you were a bit lower to really isolated the subject from the background stripes. I think there is some sort of halo
on the top side of the beak.
