Very eye catching image, I may be wrong but I sense it has been cropped a little over zealously resulting in a significant loss in image quality.

Hi Jon, you are not wrong. The excitement of seeing and capturing this bird wanted to show the image as I wished it was. Back to the drawing board and make a composition as it should be. Really appreciate you knowledgeable comments, thank you for viewing and commenting.

Hey Joe, I've got zip on this bird so I like it. It looks a bit sharper on the flank than on the eye. And I am not a fan of all of those shadows. The BKGR is interesting.

Hi Joe. The above comments noted. But what I really like about this shot is seeing a Grey Ghost with a Florida backdrop. Not how I am used to seeing them.

I also don't have squat for this species, so I am liking it. A very hard bird to find and get a shot of. The details on the head look fine to my eye. Agree about the shadows, but hey, more than I have. Nice work!

Hi Joe always very nice to capture a " rare " subject ... so I am happy for you .
And I would also accept a lower overall IQ .... no question .

As it stands there is visible loss of quality and sharpness , but I do like the subject , the pose and the BG is so cool and very nice .
