    This is from last month. I went to Texel (a small of shore Island in the Netherlands) where I found a familly of these beautiful waders trying to cross the road. As my girlfriend inspected the road for incomming cars, so they wouldn't drive over their little chicks :o, I got away with a few shots. I was lucky to get a BG of rape seed flowers. I didn't do a lot of saturation so this is pretty much what the BG looked like....:)

    Oh... This is very nice... A little over sharpened but the composition, detials and BG are fantastic.

    Wonderful pose, especially with the open beak and I love getting shorebirds on posts. I'm glad you mentioned the color because my first impression was that it was over saturated. Well done.

    Very nice! Love the pose and the overall composition. You couldn't have asked for a better background! It does look a bit sharp but it is one lovely image!
