Hi Volkan, very nice indeed with a killer backdrop. Good detail and having the head slight tilted towards camera helps and I quite like the slightly crossed legs. If you have the data then I would move the whole crop down with more at the foot, as presented it's too tight at the foot. Personally I might just tone down the two stone HL's below the feet and the one to the RHS near the trim, they draw the eye.

Nice work with the MK3, it still delivers great files and coupled with the lens makes for a great combo.

Bird looks fantastic! Lovely lighting and detail across the body. I would clone out the second (and third) catchlight and darken the eye a bit; that bit on contrast will really pull the viewer in.

I agree with Steve about the crop; it needs much more room below. Bird is also looking into the short-side of the frame, so moving it right and/or giving more room at left would really help.

Minus the fixable cropping issues, this is an excellent frame.

Super image the crop is a little less than ideal but the details and colours are excellent. Removing/changing pebbles or highlights is personal choice, I can see merit in changing or leaving as is.

Yes to superb and yes to at least a bit more room below. In addition to loving the young bird I like the seaweed and the bits of shell as well.

Volkan, you did a really nice job on this one. Love the pose and you executed with depth of field nicely. The shallow plane does wonders for this image.

I think you could improve it some by removing the extra catchlights and darkening the pupil some. Also, this image might be better suited for a 4x5, shifting the subject up in the frame some and leaving more room left.

Might also look at bringing up exposure just a touch as it feels a touch drab.

    I like it overall!
