Lesser Scaup, female this time
Here's a female to contrast with the male I posted yesterday. I raised up a few inches in this instance so that I could capture the textured water as she paddled across it.
I'm pretty stoked with the blend of brown, tan, yellow, and gold.

Good clean image, removing some blue from the black plumage does reveal a little more detail.

Hi Dorian ... another good solid frame of a duck species .
Nice overall color and tones and a good amount of fine detail rendered .... should be in that Iso range . I do like the overall " brownish "appearance .... still maintaining a lot of different shades in that color range . The reflected sky adds a nice touch .
Love the " swirling water " in the fore and background .
