Finally my computer is up and running again. It will take me a few weeks/months to get through all of the files from the last couple of months. So here's one from a few months ago made during my fieldwork period. This was taken during the last 15 minutes of sunlight, purple part of the BG are some trees that lit up like that with the last sunshine of the day.

    Comments and Critique most welcome,

I like it alot! The purplish BG is nice, and you got a perfect head turn. I would only get rid of the couple of the brighter white spots in the grass.

This is gorgeous. A little over sharpened but the composition, light, details and low angle are terrific.

Lovely colors and great habitat. I like the placement of the bird in the frame. Can't comment on sharpness, viewing this on a laptop in airport lounge. Look good to me, though!
Glad you got your computer running so we can enjoy your work again :)

Nicely composed, the light here gives some really lovely colours. I'd be very pleased with this if it was my shot, there's a calming atmosphere in this photograph.

Great work, Krijn. I love the composition and the head angle of your subject is excellent. I love the grass, what a fresh punch of color. Out here, we don't have many opportunities to photograph in short natural grasses like this. Wonderful.
