    Default Long-tailed Meadowlark (Chile)

    This juvenile bird perched right next to our car while we were parked on the roadside in Torres del Paine National Park. The bush he selected was hella out-of-control, so I went with a
    close cropped headshot rather than include that distraction. I like how it looks like someone stabbed him in the chest. Always nice to get a frame without leaving the car! Can't crop
    any lower without the bush becoming an issue

    Canon 600mm f/4 IS II on EOS 5D
    1/640 at f/5.6, ISO 1600
    Processed in LR CC. No cloning

    Gotta love meadowlarks' bills, and this one is no different. Fun details throughout. You could get away with a bit more above, but I like it as is as well. The 5D still rocking it eh!

    Super colours and details, I think the head and shoulders crop works well.

    Hi Dorian, nice colors, feather detail and background. Except for color same characteristics as the Eastern Meadowlark. Nice to photograph without leaving the car. I like the image, thank you for sharing.
