Another sparrow from a local trail at sunset. Not a very glamorous bird, but I like sparrows!
Also I wanted to take another crack at an image where the subject is in the shade and the background is bright (similar to the shrike).
I created a layer mask with only the sparrow and increased exposure and temperature.
Cropped and processed with C1 pro 2021, PS CC. NR and sharpening with Topaz.

Hi Sharif, nice simple clean image, I like it a lot. Post processing looks spot on with a pure background. Thank you for sharing.

Looks good, Sharif. Very engaging and clean. Two ideas. I think you could back off the sharpening a touch; the bird is starting to look a bit crunchy. Also, I think you could lift the exposure
on the entire image a bunch; that would help it pop a bit more. But a really, really fine image of a bird I see now and again but haven't yet shot.

    Thank you, Joe and Dorian.

Dorian, thank you for your suggestions. Repost with increased brightness and reduced sharpness.

Hi Sharif, very nice subject and pose! I like the perch as well. I agree with Dorian's take on the image. I like the repost better.

Hi Sharif ... late to the party .
A super clean shot , nice perch .... and a pleasing subject .
Agree about the sharpening being a bit too much .
Tones looking good .... personally I would work a bit on the color front , it is again the blue component that is poking into my sensitive eye . It is obviously just me .... so it might be wrong .

    Nice one , TFS Andreas
