    Default Scale-throated Earthcreeper (Chile)

Same bird as yesterday, just a bit closer and from a slightly different angle.

    Canon 600mm f/4 IS II + 1.4x III on EOS R5
    1/3200 at f/8, ISO 1000
Processed in PR CC, NR in Topaz, nothing clones or added
This is a heavy crop, but I think it stood up pretty well. Thin white line on top beak is real (i.e. on the bird); it's not a sharpening halo.

Hi Dorian ... nice solid portrait .
Color and tones looking good and the crop works well . Nice different feather structure to see ...

Wondering why the feathers under the bill and throat ... are not defined and being smudged and the area on the back does look strange too .... And that at Iso 1000 .....

Nice work nevertheless and TFS Andreas

Hi Dorian, very nice portrait. It does hold up really well for a large crop. The eye and the bill are super sharp. Also great feather detail on the body. I can see what Andreas means about the feathers on the back and throat. I have seen that happen before to my images. Never knew what was the cause...
