Hi folks another one from the Mute Swans ... this time the other specimen .
Does look slightly different in terms of whites ... looking more " yellowish " .
I was really close to them .... they hardly did take any notice of me , once I sat down and started watching them .
But as another person walked behind me with a dog on a leash ... the swan started making his typical noise when they are in a aggressive mood . So I got a rather different image ... thanks to the dog .
Look at the glassy water pearl ....dripping from the open beak , one can see even the buildings inside that thing

    F 7,1 ; Iso 1000 ; 1/3200 sec
With hindsight I should have stopped down to F10 for more DOF

Processed with DPP 4 and PSCC 2022 ; added a bit of canvas to the left and top and re cropped for comp

Thanks for watching and commenting to my previous posting

    Cheers Andreas

Hi Andreas, killer detailed image! You can even see the serrated "teeth" on the bill! Love the water droplet just hanging from the lower mandible. I also like the graduated background.

I love the open bill, the teeth, the water droplet on the lower bill, etc. Nicely processed too

You nailed it Andreas, great detail in the darks and whites, details everywhere, colours look spot on too. The background is pretty much ideal.

Stunning headshot, Andreas. Open bill and drop really make this image memorable. Techs and processing look perfect. Bravo.
