Red squirrel colouration varies tremendously in UK, this is one of several I will post in due course. This colour is typical of the endemic population. Due to limited focal distribution European squirrels have been introduced to broaden the gene pool, you will see there is a big difference.

Comp is nice but I would have liked a bit more space at the foot and the LHS .

Thanks Andreas yes the left hand side had a big ugly log there, I cleaned up a bit and I should have extended that dark area!, Never mind - plenty more!
