    Default Glacier Finch (Chile)

This fat little bird occupies the same high-elevation Puna habitat as the Puna Ground-Tyrant which I posted yesterday.

There are more exciting/glamorous shots coming, but I like to give the lesser-viewed or under-appreciated species their due as well!

A lovely shot all around. Good pose, IQ, and I love that stumpy alpine ground cover.

Hi Dorian ... a fine solid shot of this species .
Does look basically good in terms of color and tones .
Personally i can see some potential for a bit more Oomph in subject and FG , easy with the latest LR options regrading selective adjustments .
Interesting to see the different color grading compared to the previous posting of the same habitat .

Good to see new stuff and TFS

I like the underappreciated birds!! Good stuff. Just enough FG, and nice separation of the BG. I'm OK with the raised grasses, but that one touching the tail tip is pesky. Love seeing these new birds (for me)...keep them coming!
