    This was taken as I was walking along the beach through several tree tops so it is not an entirely clear view but I thought it looked reasonable

    Super sharp, especially for 1/400! Yeah, the tree tops cast a haze across the bird's bottom end, but the face and eye-contact are generally strong enough to force out eyes higher. My biggest issue is the huge amount of
    space up and right from the bird. I'm not sure how to manage it given the bird's posture though - at least without going to some non-standard, wonky-*** crop.
