That is so funny... Before looking at your text, thought this looks like one of Brian's... An awesome canvas with wondrous BG to set off this beauty. TFS

Kurt, lovely wing position, light and BG. May well be wrong but I suspect the face, particularly the eye, could do with another round of sharpening.

Very nice flight frame of this drake. Nice light and downstroke pose. Love that background.

Nice shot, I feel some of the head is a little dark otherwise I like it very much.

That lens produces some really nice results at f/9 with the TC and this is no exception. Lovely pose, perfect exposure, and great background make for a winning frame. I agree about opening up the face/head a bit if you can, but that's really minor. I'm hoping to pass through there on my upcoming nomadic year, so hopefully I can get something as nice as this!

Kurt, had a great time with ya this go round.

This is a super nice pose for the Goldie. Great light angle, nicely blurred, neutral bkg.

Great composition. My only suggestion would be to reduce the yellow and possible magenta a little and see if it releases some of the color. I was struggling with the WB on the series from those days myself.

    Look forward to the next...!

Sweet frame man, in great light. A couple of good pieces of advice to take it even higher, but boy does this hit the mark to start with!
