    Hi all. Out again for a bird walk when I saw more Dragonflies. Hope you like this one.
    D500/500PF, 1/1600th sec@f10, iso1250. Basic adjustments in acr and photoshop. Cheers.

    Paul you're getting good at these! Looking good .............you could consider eliminating the specular highlight on the compound eye.

    Thanks Jonathan. I actually started my photography life with macro around 2008. I have the Canon 100mm macro and the MPE65 lenses as well as the MT24EX twinlight. I took lots of insect images, including Dragonflies, (many much closer than those I've posted) but the flash from the twin light is quite harsh. I used the Stofen diffusers but they were not really effective in reducing the harsh light. Good point about the SH on the eye. Cheers.
