    Default Dragonfly

I was out this morning, but the birds were not making themselves present much, so when I saw these Dragonflies I thought I'd try a few shots. This one perched nicely and returned a few times. I began my photography life shooting macro, so it's nice to return now and again. I do have macro lenses, but this was with my Nikon gear. I have another one...more side on and at f8 (should have been at f8 here too), but I'm happy with how it turned out. Cheers.

Nice head on view of this dragonfly. I do like the framing and that blue sky background.

Exposure looks good, limited DOF but the important bits are in focus - well done.

Thanks Jonathan. Yes, I'm quite impressed with how the Nikon combo went here.
