Hi folks starting right into the new year with an older file back from 2018 .
Image taken in the Khwai concession of Botswana during my trip with Anette , without her kind help I would not had the chance to visit the area .
We had a great time with good sightings and truck loads of fun ....
Image taken one evening close to sunset .
I got out of the car and positioned myself quite low , dialed down the SS to get some movement in the subject . Taking the risk of getting a lot of blur .
Canon EOS 1Dx II
EF 500 IS L II

Processed with DPP 4 and PSCC 2022 ; cropped , added canvas for better composition
Thanks for watching and commenting to my previous postings
Hi Andreas -- The colours and tones are very nice and the ground level pov makes it more pleasing . Going slow on ss to get that motion blur has worked fine on the main subject but the one intersecting in the bkg is causing some what distraction especially its back leg intersecting with the main subject is a bit of a spoiler.
Lets see what others have to say, but we need to keep trying different things on the field .
