    Jon, continue to love the color mixture going on in your garden. The purples and greens are fantastic.

    Nice works capturing the rain drops. Just enough for effect I think. Love the little fern blooms.

    Angle toward the lens helps the lack of eye contact as does the posture. Details processed well here for me.

    I have some composition opinions, primarily with regard to the fact that the subject is more horizontal than vertical. In this case, I feel like going wider and less tall would be of benefit (for instance, the crop you see viewing the image in the browser at normal zoom). Always subjective though.

    Like the rain on this one. Nice of the bird to perch there for you. Detail looks nice for the ISO.

    Hi Jon ... I would go with John that I do love the rainfall as well !!! Makes it different to the " mainstream " nice shots .
    I would echo Brian regarding tone and color ... nicely processed .
    Not much you can do that the bird was partly hidden on that large perch .... in an ideal world he would have chosen the top .
