She was meant to have perched on the other end of the tripod arm where there was a nice mossy branch!! She should have known better she is a daily visitor to my back garden.
Happy New Year everyone thanks for taking a look.

Very jealous that you have this visitor to your garden...beats my Magpies, Noisy miners and peewees (Magpie-larks). Yes, this is a great image Jonathan. Love the sharpness, pose and the "perch".
Happy new year to you and everyone on this forum. le5t's hope 2022 brings back some peace and happiness to this crazy world.

So close but so far. Love the look. Maybe I was suppose to land on that side? Hope to see some more garden images from you this year.

Ha ha! You'll have to cover your tripod with mosses too now. Happy New Year Jon! P.S. Is the subject interested in a food offering at right?

Dan she perches on a large plant pot at the side of the house then she flies down the side my garden shed/ hide and swoops round in a circle around the feeder hoping to snatch a passerine. I have since put ivy on the junction of the perch and tripod arm... so now she perches well and truly on the tripod! So next I placed some obstacles in that area so if she wants to perch for a moment she will be forced to use the mossy branch. I have hundreds of images of her but none on a "clean " perch.
