A fine shot, I quite like as presented but for me just a little bright and yellow, I took to PSCC, lowered exposure buy about 1/3 stop checked highlights and lowered colour temp a little and the image really popped.
David, thanks for the comments. Vertical would also probably be nice.
Jon, thanks much for the feedback! TBH, I sampled many different gray points and in fact, have 15 different versions with different WB, crazy as it sounds :-/ This o.p. seemed to have the most life. However, here is a version with some slight edits for perspective.

Hi Brian ... lovely clean shot of this species , as the others has been .
Love the fine rendered details , nice work .
This image offers a lot of options and room for various variants , in terms of color .
Personally I would go darker and cooler in the BG and keep bird and perch as they are in the OP .... as a possible option .
Clarity and detail are very good. The fund has been integral. successful work. There may be different things about colors and exposure. there is no end. congratulations
I must be iggorant. Both versions look stunningly beautiful to me. I even like the left-hand spur on the perch.
with love and have a great 2022.
