    I captured this image along Joe Overstreet Road in Kenansville, Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Nikon D500
    Nikon 500mm F/5.6 VR AF-S ED PF, image captured through open window of vehicle handheld
    1/1250 F/5.6 Matrix Metering EV +1 ISO 5000 Auto 1 WB, image captured at 500mm (750mm 35mm Equivalent)
    Post processed in Lightroom Classic, Photoshop CC 2022 and Neat Image for noise reduction
    Cropped and canvas added for composition and presentation

    Joe:
    Well exposed, soft light. Like the subtle rain drops. I like the texture and character of the post, but just for personal taste, find it a bit dominating in the image.

    Love the framing with branch for balance, the colors, BG, details and the post fits the composition for me. TFS

    I like the composition colours and tones but I feel it is a little over sharpened, some of the feathers appear a little refractile.

    Hi Joe, instead of 'bird on a stick' this is 'bird on a pole'. As I dont have many thinner perches in my local spots, I am totally fine with your perch. The Sparrow is pin sharp, and love the two tone colours on the perch/post. Lovely colour to the BG too.

    I like this. Nice weathered fence post,soft rain and the plant on the right gives it some balance.
