LEO - Diving for Dinner
Another shot of our famous winged local. Here is took a dive. Didn't get exactly the angle I wanted but hey it's a LEO in flight. Gotta be happy, right? TFL.

Digital Basics II. I used the Quick Selection Tool to select the face and then pulled the curve up. Then used Tim Grey Dodge and Burn to lighten the grey feathers that outline the facial disk.

ps: the best new is that there are dozens and dozens of great Photoshop tips.
Thanks for the workup Artie. I actually have DB II. I'd lightened the face a touch from it's RAW state but see more does look better. In PS I tend to create an Exposure Adjustment layer with a mask and "paint in" the lighter adjustment. I lightened mine that way on my website... and it does look better.
